Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP)

If your vehicle is totaled or stolen, insurance may not cover your full loan balance.

For a one‑time cost of $499, GAP can:

  • Cover the remaining balance on your CalCom auto loan after insurance pays

  • Provide $1,000 toward your next CalCom‑financed vehicle

Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP)

Enjoy peace of mind long after your factory warranty expires with Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP). It helps cover major components like the engine, transmission, drive systems, front suspension, steering, electrical system, and air conditioning.

MBP also includes valuable extras such as rental car reimbursement and 24/7 roadside assistance. You can take your vehicle to any licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada, and coverage is transferable to a new owner, which can boost your vehicle’s resale value. The cost can be added to your monthly vehicle payment or purchased separately.

EVERYDAY SERVICES

Direct Deposit and Payroll 

Routing & Transit (ABA) #: 3222-8310-7

Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction give you fast, convenient access to your paycheck and make it easy to build savings or pay loans automatically. Provide CalCom’s routing number and your account number to your employer’s payroll department to get started. 

To sign up for Direct Deposit, you may need to provide CalCom's routing & transit (ABA) - #: 3222-8310-7 and your CalCom account number to your employer's payroll department.

Direct Deposit for IRS Refund

IRS Direct Deposit is safe (checks can get lost or stolen), easy (save time, postage, and trees), and fast (refunds arrive up to 3 weeks earlier). Use the appropriate line under "Refund" on Form 1040 to deposit into your credit union account. You can also select up to three financial accounts for direct deposit of your tax refund. You can choose among IRA accounts, checking and savings accounts. You decide which combination is best for you. Use IRS Form 8888 to split your refund. Visit www.irs.gov for details.

Overdraft Privilege

The Credit Union provides Overdraft Privilege to eligible members as a benefit. Overdraft Privilege is not a line of credit. Overdraft Privilege is available to Checking accounts that are in good standing. Opt-In Form

Notary Public

The Credit Union has Notaries commissioned by the State of California to witness and certify signatures on documents. This service is available to both members and non-members. Note that an appointment is required and documents to be notarized must be tagged. Contact the Credit Union to make an appointment.

 

Identification Requirements

State Law requires a notary to have satisfactory evidence of the signer’s identity. Please have any of the following documents with you when showing up for a notary service:

 

  1. Identification or driver's license issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicle;

  2. A United States passport;

  3. Other State-approved identification card, consisting of any one of the following, if it also contains a photograph, description of the person, signature of the person, and identifying number -

    • A passport issued by a foreign government provided that is has been stamped by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement;

    • A driver's license issued by another state or by a Canadian or Mexican public agency authorized to issue drivers' license;

    • An identification card issued by another state;

    • A military identification card.

Wire Transfers

Members can send domestic and international wire transfers through CalCom, with same‑day processing available for requests received before 12 pm. Applicable fees may apply.

Check Writing

CalCom offers credit union checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks for your payment needs.

Free Annual Credit Report

You are entitled to one free credit report every 12 months from each major credit bureau. CalCom recommends reviewing your report regularly to help spot errors or signs of fraud. Get your reports at AnnualCreditReport.com.
